Golden Apple Sparkle

"This is summertime in a bowl full of fruity sweetness".

PREPARATION TIME: 5 minutes plus chilling time
SERVES: 4-6

INGREDIENTS:

2 South African Golden Delicious apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
150ml elderflower cordial
1 bottle dry sparkling white wine
100ml apple juice
225g strawberries, sliced

PREPARATION:

Chill all the ingredients for a few hours before you are ready to make and serve the drink.

Core and thinly slice the apple and toss in the lemon juice to avoid browning. Drain and discard the lemon juice.

Pour the elderflower cordial into a large bowl or juice. Add the sparkling white wine and top with the apple juice. Add the apple slices and strawberries and serve.
